Pop Diggity was a dream that was actually conceived in 2020
Before moving to Galveston, Texas, we lived in Illinois (Near St. Louis, MO). At the time we had just sold our dog store and a doggy daycare and boarding facility. We had made the decision to make Galveston our new home, but we just weren’t sure about opening another dog centric business again.
In our home town was this great little popcorn shop we frequented enough that our bellies became free advertising for them. They had all your basics, but we felt like there could be more variety… more adventurous flavors…just more. And so, we decided our next adventure would be a gourmet popcorn shop… our way.
As with all best laid plans, life got in the way and it just wasn’t possible to execute when we moved here. So, Scott pivoted and opened what he knew he could execute well… Wagabonz!
6 years later, Wagabonz was going strong. So strong, in fact, Scott wasn’t needed there everyday anymore. As he sat there, he realized that maybe the time to make the original dream come true had arrived. And so, Pop Diggity was born.
