Pop Diggity was a dream that was actually conceived in 2020
Before moving to Galveston, Texas, we lived in Illinois near St. Louis. We had just sold our dog store along with a doggy daycare and boarding facility. Although we decided to make Galveston our new home, we weren’t sure about opening another dog-centric business.
In our hometown, a great little popcorn shop drew us in so often that our bellies became free advertising for them. They offered all the basics, but we wanted more variety, more adventurous flavors, and just more overall. So, we decided our next adventure would be a gourmet popcorn shop—our way.
As with the best-laid plans, life got in the way, making execution impossible when we moved. Scott pivoted and opened a business he knew he could manage well: Wagabonz!
Six years later, Wagabonz was thriving so much that Scott didn’t need to be there every day. As he sat there, he realized the time had finally arrived to bring the original dream to life. And so, Pop Diggity was born.
